Aluminum Extruder Belts & Roller Tubes

Our range of Heat Resistant Aluminum Extruder Transfer Belts & Roller Tubes are manufactured to handle finished product temperatures up to 500°C. & peaking at 600°C. Used in runout, transfer, cooling, walking beams, stretcher feed & batching through the extrusion process our belts & tubes provide outstanding high temperature & abrasion resistance.

Structure of Tension Members

Kevlar (K)

  • Temperature resistance up to 500°C
  • Strength up to 25 N/mm at 1% elongation

Nomex (N)

  • Temperature resistance up to 500°C
  • Strength up to 10 N/mm at 1% elongation

Polyester (P)

  • Temperature resistance up to 200°C
  • Strength  to 15 N/mm at 1& elongation

Structure of the Felt – maximum working temperatures

Zylon (PBO)

  • Continual 400°C, peaking at 600°C
  • This material will not melt or contaminate the aluminum profile

Kevlar (K) & Kevlar + Carbon (KC)

  • Continual 250°C, peaking at 500°C
  • This material will not melt or contaminate the aluminum profile

Nomex (N)

  • Continual 200°C, peaking at 280°C
  • This material will not melt or contaminate the aluminum profile

Polyester (P)

  • Highest temperature resistance is 200°C.
  • This material will melt or contaminate the aluminum profile
